Flaps and Fenders 2011   Date: Sunday, August 28, 2011 Date: June 11, 2011 Location: Red Deer Regional Airport For the 2011 show, the Cruisers returned to the Red Deer Regional Airport for another edition of Flaps and Fenders.  The weather was less than cooperative, with drizzle on and off all day.  However, those that came out made the best of it.  Our local clown/mechanic/weather expert Cuzzin Tucker was even there with her assistants, doing her best sun dance to keep the precipitation at bay. While there, we were treated to some great aviation sights as we had a flyby and landing of a CF-18 and an opportunity for photos of our cars with several airplanes including a DC-4 owned by Buffalo Airways of 'Ice Pilots NWT' fame.
