ABOUT US

Thank you for your interest in The Cruisers Club Of Red Deer!

As a Club we have been around for many years, but became incorporated as a non-profit society on February 15, 1995.

We are a family-oriented group of car enthusiasts.   Our members support the automotive hobby in all it's legal forms and our club is a member of the Specialty Vehicle Association of Alberta (SVAA).  Our member's are dedicated to the preservation, restoration, modification, cruising, and sheer enjoyment of all antique, collector, vintage, muscle, performance, custom, and specialty vehicles....  from Avanti's to Z-28's... convertibles to station wagons!

We live for the summer.  Each year we look forward to our annual Street Meet, various cruises, attending numerous Show and Shines around central Alberta and beyond, and Thursday nights at Red Deer's fabulous Cruise Corner.

During the off-season, we continue our weekly Thursday night out, but at the Taylor Plaza A&W on the corner of 67th Street and Taylor Drive in Red Deer starting at 7  p.m.

Our monthly general meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at The Circuit Cafe, South Side of Hanger "A", in Springbrook, AB (immediately north of Red Deer Regional Airport terminal parking lot) at 7:00 p.m. sharp! Everyone is welcome and any vehicle is welcome.  Club membership costs less than half of an average tank of gas or a couple of cans of Carnuba wax!

Each year we pick a charity to support.  In the past we have donated proceeds from our annual Street Meet and T-shirt sales to the Optimist Club for Children With Cancer, Safety City, and the Central Alberta Women's Shelter, among others. This year, we are proud to support Ronald McDonald House and their efforts to open a new facility in Red Deer! Please have a look at our Charities page for additional information.
